Adena Mansion & Gardens Society

In January 2010 a group of community leaders formed and organized the Adena Mansion & Gardens Society to manage the site for the Ohio History Connection. The first 2010 season under the AMGS management was very successful with a site attendance over 11,000 visitors. The 2010 events included a 10K & 5K Kill the Hill Race, Spring Awakening, Pioneer Days, Hog Gone Wild, Garden Lectures, Thomas Jefferson enactor, Heirloom Plant Sale, Harvest Days, Band Concert, Tomato Tasting, Wreath Decorating and Holidays at Adena. The site rental business was a success with 4 weddings and several site rentals.

Adena Mansion & Gardens

The Adena Mansion & Gardens Society is dedicated to preserving the mansion, gardens and grounds of Thomas Worthington and family; to promoting his legacy of participation in Ohio’s early history; and to enhancing present and future appreciation of Adena’s contribution to our culture.
